G. GERLACH PZL 37 ŁOŚ WATCH REVIEW |
THE Situation
Out of the box always the situation with G. Gerlach, the timepiece immediately screams “solid”. This really is something I’ve learned to anticipate with things appearing out of Belgium - a couple of of my buddies are Polish, and they're such as the human representation of G. Gerlach.

G. GERLACH PZL 37 ŁOŚ WATCH REVIEW |
The crown and pushers are suitably machined, and therefore are very simple to use. I love adding an additional (unsigned) crown at 10 to manage the interior rotating bezel. The primary crown has got the G. Gerlach emblem deeply engraved around the finish.
The caseback features the bomber plane it’s named after: the PZL 37B. The engraving is accurate and detailed - it is also a great speaking point.
THE DIAL
The dial is extremely bold, readable and many certainly aviation inspired.
The interior rotating bezel features heavily because of the size it - with lumed numerals at each a few minutes.
There's no applied elements towards the dial - bar a single triangular found at 12. The subdials take presctiption a rather lower level supplying a really gentle feeling of depth.
The “spearhead” hands are skeletonised and therefore are full lumed. Surprisingly, they're still nice legible instantly. The lume is average strength.
The dial is detailed enough to become interesting, but little to become too busy. Personally in my experience, the dial isn’t probably the most striking factor going, but that’s just my preference.
THE STRAP
The strap is wonderful: superbly soft, supple, along with a very awesome vintage style.
It’s pretty wide at 22mm in the lugs, which fits the timepiece perfectly. It produces a very comfortable put on.
The brushed pre-V buckle is oversized, but is extremely stylised with angles along with a large top bar. The G. Gerlach emblem is engraved within the corner.
THE MOVEMENT
The movement powering the G.Gerlach PZL 37 ?o? may be the Seagull ST1902. This can be a well-known hands-wound chronograph, utilized in a large number of affordable hands wound chronos.
It’s sturdy, accurate and reliable. It runs at 21.6k bph (6 ticks per second). It’s very smooth and simple to wind, that is good as it's important to get it done every second day.
The large seconds hands may be the chronograph seconds indicator the subdial at 9 may be the running seconds hands and also the subdial at 3 may be the half hour chronograph indicator.
